My classes have been hitting me hard for the past two months. They still are, but I have a free hour and some news that's dying to get out.
First up is Expelled news: Scientific American's review of Expelled. That page also links to Michael Shermer's review, which is great if you want to know the details of Expelled's deception. If you don't know what Expelled is or why you should despise it, check out ExpelledExposed.com.
On the political front, no Presidential candidates agreed to participate in Science Debate 2008. The following collection of syllables expresses my opinion about this: MMMUUAAYYYYAARRRNNNNGGGGFFFFFBBBBBBBGTHTHTHTHT!!!!!!!GACK
If you're looking for a reason to lose more faith in our government, look no further than Rep. Monique Davis of Chicago, Illinois, who thinks that mere knowledge of the existence of atheism is dangerous to children. Read the Chicago Tribune's main story about it here.

This gives me terrible flashbacks to my high school days.
Best part of the articles? They had to hire extras to make an audience for his lecture.
