This is bizarre I woke up today whilst in the middle of the weirdest dream....
I dreamt that I got four comments in reply to my posts on this site
(Laugh out loud)
It was the begining of a wonderful meeting of the minds, I suddenly found myself interacting with other young people who were as equally hindered by their geographical surroundings as I am.
In my dream we swapped thoughts, feelings, provocative questions and solutions.
My intellectual drought had finally broken;
ideas fell like rain into the barren wasteland of my existence.
Like the parched Earth taking its first drink, my thirst was quenched.

Van Morrison sings: Only a dream;
"It was only a dream that knocked me off my feet, only a dream but that dream is still around. If I had to do it all over I'd do the same thing again cos' it was only a dream."

I am a citizen foreigner in my place of birth, I feel as though I am the bearer of an alien visa that is about to expire.
Whenever I have to leave the house I take Valium in order to numb myself in preparation for the frivolous conversations that will inevitably ensue.

I despise myself for not being able to submit to the status-quo of social contentment with binge drinking on a Friday and Saturday night and cheering the boys on as they punch each other up in drunken brawls.
I loathe my innate sense of curiosity with the world and the endless disconnected isolation it brings me.

My generations' youth is being squandered, I look around, standing in a pub of my peers, the aimlessness is breath taking, literally I am winded and jolt as I gasp for air in a room that is so thick with apathy you could cut throught it with a knife.
